Rouhin Mitra

Ph.D. Candidate at UCLA

Rouhin is a PhD candidate at University of California, Los Angeles in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. His research interests include understanding of land-atmosphere interactions towards characterizing evapotranspiration to quantify agricultural water consumption in data scarce regions such as East Africa.  To do so, he combines satellite data with data driven approaches for algorithmic improvements. He also likes to play soccer and tennis and devotes his free time to them.
