Mercy Corps Director of Data Science

Aaron Eubank is a seasoned professional specializing in geospatial technology and data analysis within humanitarian contexts. Currently serving as Geospatial Technology Manager at Mercy Corps since March 2021, Aaron advises teams on geospatial methodologies, develops technical products, and leads cross-departmental initiatives to enhance organizational strategies around geospatial technology. Previous experience includes serving as a Data for Impact Advisor at Mercy Corps, where Aaron led the geospatial aspects of data visualization solutions, and as a Technical Consultant for the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, focused on mapping critical information in Eastern DRC and Uganda. Aaron's background also includes roles in contract management with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and educational development during a Peace Corps assignment in Rwanda. With a Master’s in Geographic Information Science and a Bachelor's in Geography and International Affairs, Aaron combines technical expertise with a commitment to impactful humanitarian work.
